About wedding cups
A printed reusable cup is the single most useful piece of wedding merchandise you'll buy. Guests use it across the entire day (welcome drinks, toast, dinner, the late bar) and then take it home as a keepsake. Unlike paper place cards or wedding favours that hit the bin within a week, a branded wedding cup carries the couple's names and date around the kitchens, bbqs and garden parties of every guest who attended for years afterwards. The economics are good too: a custom wine cup printed with the wedding details lands at roughly the same per-unit cost as a single use plastic flute hire, but the cup goes home with the guest and the venue doesn't carry waste removal costs.
Which cup for which moment? Stemless wine cups (250ml) work brilliantly for the drinks reception and table service, they're stable on uneven outdoor surfaces and stack flat in storage. Champagne flutes (or our stackable flute) cover the toast. Pint cups (568ml at the line) handle beer and cider service at the late bar, and our half-pint cups suit spirits and shorter serves. Most weddings we ship order a mix of wine cups for the daytime and pint or half-pint cups for the evening reception. We can suggest the right blend if you tell us the guest count and bar setup.
Is the print durable? Yes. We print via In-Mould Labelling (IML), which embeds the artwork into the cup wall during moulding. There's no per-colour upcharge, so a full-colour wedding monogram or photographic venue illustration costs the same as a single colour name-and-date stamp. The print is part of the cup, so it survives dishwashers, sun, ice buckets and the inevitable late-night spills. For smaller weddings on tighter timelines, single-colour screen print is a faster and lower-MOQ alternative.
